When we started planning our wedding, we knew one thing for certain: we did not just want to invite you to our wedding, we wanted to invite you to Cyprus.
This website has been created to help you plan your trip, choose where to stay, understand the travel options and keep up to date as our plans come together.
Whether you are joining us for a long weekend or making a holiday of it, we hope this helps you make the very most of your time on this incredible island.

Our Journey Begins
This is more than a wedding day.
Our celebrations begin long before we say, “I do.”
In the days leading up to our wedding, our closest family and friends will begin arriving in Cyprus from across the UK. Some of you will join us for a few days, others for a little longer, but however long you are able to stay, we are simply grateful you will be there.
Little by little, our favourite people will gather in one of our favourite places in the world. There will be mornings by the pool, afternoons on the beach, dinners that last longer than planned, plenty of laughter and memories made long before the wedding day arrives.
Then, on Saturday 22 May 2027, surrounded by the people we love most, we will become husband and wife.
And if you can stay with us on Sunday 23 May, we would love you to join us for our Pool Day After Party at Constantinos The Great before everyone starts heading home.

Making the most of your time in Cyprus.
Everyone’s plans will be different. Some guests will be joining us for a long weekend, others will stay for a week or even longer.
Please read before choosing your dates
Friday to Monday works — but only if that is all you can manage.
Friday to Monday is the absolute minimum travel time we would suggest. We completely understand that work, family, budgets and other commitments may mean three nights is all some guests can do. If that is your only realistic option, please do it — we would much rather have you with us for three nights than not at all.
But if you can possibly stay longer, we really recommend that you do. Many UK flights arrive into Larnaca later in the day. By the time you land, collect your luggage and travel to Protaras, much of Friday may already have gone. Saturday is the wedding, Sunday is our Pool Day After Party, and on Monday you are already preparing to head home.
We are hoping there will be drinks, meals, beach time and other informal get-togethers as everyone arrives. A Friday-to-Monday trip means you may miss some of that build-up and will have very little time simply to enjoy Cyprus with everyone.
So please think of Friday to Monday as the worst-case option rather than the ideal one. Four nights is better; five to seven nights gives you a proper holiday; and if you can stay longer, even better.
After all, some moments deserve more than just one day of memories.

A great balance if you want the trip to feel like a proper holiday.

Where to Stay
Although our wedding ceremony and celebrations will take place at the beautiful Pernera Beach Hotel, we have deliberately chosen to base ourselves in Protaras throughout our celebrations.
Why? Because we do not want our wedding to be just one day. We want it to be a holiday, an opportunity to spend quality time together and to make memories that begin long before we say “I do.”
That is why our recommended accommodation is in Protaras, not at the wedding venue in Pernera. Everything is only a short taxi ride from Pernera Beach Hotel on the wedding day, while allowing everyone to enjoy Protaras before and afterwards.
We have chosen our recommended accommodation with one simple goal in mind: keeping everyone together for as much of the celebration as possible.

We have provided direct contact details for our recommended hotels wherever possible, but booking directly with the hotel will not necessarily be the cheapest way to travel.
We believe that, in many cases, a package holiday may work out cheaper overall because tour operators buy large allocations of rooms in advance. A package can also include your flights, checked luggage and airport transfers, so make sure you compare the total cost rather than just the room price.

Don’t worry — the hotels are not necessarily sold out.
A couple of guests have contacted us because they’ve tried searching for our wedding dates on Booking.com and have been unable to find availability.
We’ve checked this ourselves and there is currently availability for our dates through easyJet holidays, Jet2holidays, TUI and On the Beach. Other package holiday providers may also have availability.
These holiday companies can have their own allocations of hotel rooms, so Booking.com showing no availability does not necessarily mean the hotel is full.

We’d strongly recommend comparing the package options anyway. In many cases you’re getting your hotel, return flights, checked luggage and often airport transfers together, and the overall price can work out better than booking the individual parts separately.
You can still contact the hotels directly using the details we’ve provided below, but please don’t assume a hotel is full simply because it isn’t showing on Booking.com.

Availability and prices can change as rooms are booked, so we’d recommend checking your options sooner rather than later.
💳 You Don’t Need to Pay for the Whole Holiday Now
Don’t put off booking simply because you haven’t saved the full cost of the trip yet.
One of the big advantages of booking a package holiday is that you can often secure your trip with a relatively small deposit and then spread the cost over the months leading up to the wedding.
easyJet holidays — a useful example
easyJet holidays currently allows you to secure an eligible holiday with a £60 per person deposit. You can then pay towards the holiday in instalments, with the final balance not due until 28 days before you travel.
So rather than waiting until you have enough money saved to pay for the whole trip, you could potentially secure your flights and hotel now while there is good availability, and pay the holiday off gradually between now and May 2027.
That can be very different from booking flights separately, where you’ll commonly need to pay for the flights in full when you book.
Other tour operators including Jet2holidays, TUI, On the Beach and others also offer deposit and payment options, although their individual terms and final payment dates vary.
Our advice: don’t wait to start looking just because you don’t have the full holiday cost available today. Check the package options, deposits and payment plans first.
Deposit amounts, eligibility and payment terms can change, so please check the tour operator’s current terms when you book.

We've chosen Constantinos as our main base in Protaras because of its location, facilities and its ability to accommodate so many of us in one place. You absolutely don't have to stay here — we've included several other hotels that we know and are happy to recommend — but if you'd like to be right in the middle of everything, Constantinos is our main hotel of choice.
It will also be the venue for our Pool Day After Party on Sunday 23 May, when we're inviting everyone to join us for the day regardless of where they're staying.

Choosing between them? Think of Constantinos as the hub. If you stay elsewhere, you are still absolutely part of everything — the map is there to help you judge how close you want to be to the main base.
Planning Your Journey
Flights, packages and transfers.
For all guests travelling from the UK, the airport you need is Larnaca International Airport (LCA). Larnaca is approximately 40 minutes from Protaras by car or transfer.
If you are booking flights and accommodation separately, websites such as Skyscanner are a great place to compare prices from your local airport into Larnaca.
It is also worth checking airlines directly, including Jet2, easyJet, Wizz Air, Ryanair and British Airways where routes are available. Tour operators such as TUI may also offer flight-only options.

Use comparison sites such as Skyscanner and check airlines directly. This can work well if you want full control over flight times, hotel choice and length of stay.
Check these first
We believe a package will often be the best-value starting point. Compare providers such as Jet2 Holidays and TUI because tour operators may have pre-bought room allocations, and packages can include flights, checked luggage and airport transfers. Then compare that total with booking the hotel and flights separately — sometimes direct will still win.
We will help
If you book a package, transfers may already be included. If you book flights and accommodation separately, we will share more information about airport transfers, pickups and taxi options nearer the time.
Board Basis
Bed & Breakfast is our suggestion.
For most guests, we would recommend booking Bed & Breakfast. Protaras has a brilliant choice of cafés, tavernas, restaurants and bars, and we would love everyone to experience as much of the local food as possible during their stay.
If you prefer a little more structure, Half Board is also a good option and usually includes breakfast and an evening meal.
We generally do not think All Inclusive is necessary, simply because there are so many places to eat and drink locally and we would not want you to miss out on everything Protaras has to offer.
Families
Little ones are welcome too.
There will absolutely be children at our wedding. We know that for many of you, coming to Cyprus is not just about attending the wedding — it is a chance to turn the trip into a proper family holiday.
So if you have little'uns, please do consider bringing them along. There will be other children there and we would love for them to be part of the celebrations too.
Between the sunshine, beaches, pools, wedding celebrations and everyone being together, we are hoping this will be a holiday to remember for the whole family.

Cyprus has held a special place in Matt’s heart since he was a kid. Over the years it has become much more than a holiday destination — it is somewhere filled with memories, friendships and business.
We wanted our family and friends to experience everything that makes this island so special: the coastline, the sunshine, the restaurants, the relaxed evenings and the warmth of the people.

Non-residents need to pay €5 per person for pool access — Matt & Tanya will cover that cost for our guests because we want everyone there and we want it to be a day to remember.
This is why we're really hoping, wherever possible, that guests don't book flights home on Sunday 23 May.

Where should we stay?

Can we stay somewhere else?
Absolutely. We would love as many people together as possible, but guests should choose whatever works best for their budget and plans. We are recommending Protaras options only so guests remain close to the wider group and activities.
Should we stay at Pernera Beach Hotel?
The wedding itself is at Pernera Beach Hotel, but our recommended accommodation is in Protaras so guests can stay close to the wider group, activities and get-togethers before and after the wedding.
Which airport should we fly to?

Can we fly home on Sunday 23 May?
Where possible, we would really prefer guests not to fly home on the Sunday because everyone is invited to our Pool Day After Party at Constantinos The Great. Guests staying elsewhere are welcome too, and Matt & Tanya will cover the €5 non-resident pool access charge.
